Customer had a extremely undersized electric tankless water heater. With the 37 degree winter water it wouldn't produce any hot water (100-120) our plumbing experts eliminated the sharkbite fittings, added service valves to the tankless so we could descale it, and added a 19 gallon 120v electric water heater. The water heater can be unplugged, and will bring the 19 gallons of water temperature up to room temperature, decreasing the amount the tankless has to heat by 30-35 degrees. Plug it in and heat the same 19 gallons to 90-100, you get even better performance! This is a great solution for a undersized tankless.
